Our Facilitators
The Vtrim Facilitator: We’re In Your Corner.
Many clients discuss losing weight in boxing terms—“the fight of their life”, or “feeling knocked out and having to get up again.” The Vtrim facilitators extend their expertise, their commitment and their passion to you, so you will learn the behaviors and have the moves to win your weight loss challenge. They’re like a coach whispering in your ear, “You can do it!”
Most Vtrim facilitators are Registered Dieticians or hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology or Counseling. In addition, they must complete a 45-hour Vtrim Facilitator training program prior to facilitating any classes. In addition, these facilitators are regularly audited for quality control.
Here are a couple of outtakes from recent facilitator reviews:
“My facilitator, Kate, is very supportive and always answers questions. She is also extremely enthusiastic. She gets back to me within the day. I find her comments on my journal invaluable. I think that really is the best part of the program and what differentiates it from Weight Watchers and other similar programs.”
“I completed Vtrim eight weeks ago and still receive motivational emails from my facilitator,” reported our client. “Though she and I never met in person, she connected with me and my weight struggle so personally, I consider her a friend for life.”
“As an athlete and a guy who never had to worry about weight, I was surprised when my desk job limited my fitness time and I gained twenty five pounds. I took Vtrim I because I liked the research basis and liked that it was online. Was totally floored that I enjoyed it so much and dropped weight in a healthy way. My group was so tight, but it was all about our connection to the facilitator. A really worthwhile experience.”
“My facilitator was always an email away when I needed advice or encouragement about the eating-related challenges I faced throughout my week. She offered insight that was easily applicable to my daily routines—never rocket science, just the clear-sighted observations of an expert, easy for me to miss when immersed in the never-ending to-do lists of my work week and personal commitments, along with personally-tailored strategies for reaching my weight-loss goals.”
